you cant get all their starts if you have a bunch of those guys. 60 IP per week max in playoffs. realistically that translates to a full bullpen and 5-6 starters unless your guys are having short/bad outings. depth is still good for injury cover or if you want to platoon or spot start. but you cant win simply by streaming more IP in this league with the cap. For anyone that's played Fantasy Baseball for a long time understands, the hardest part is making the playoffs. Whether its because of bad matchups, injurires or just bad luck. From my experience everything after that is mostly a crap shoot. So while I understand the idea of innings limits in the playoffs reatricts a teams ability to overload a stat or stats, imo, it's mostly irrelevant at that point. If you get in, anyone can win. The regular season absolutley matters.

Shouldn't the rules be uniform, eliminating streaming in both regular season and playoff?
Hey, if it stays as is, we will adjust. We'd just like to see streaming booted and MLB players rotated into the minors eliminated. We should have paid closer attention. Had no idea this was going on.
If it remains as is, we will definitely take advantage of the structure and load our minors even more with high-end SP rather than using our excess as trade chips.
But -- even though we have already stockpiled pitching -- we'd prefer eliminating what we see as a flaw in the league structure.

Honestly, this is a ridiculous argument. You're completely ignoring the fact you are not even trying to field a Major League team and going on and on about streaming starting pitchers.
When this league started it was a weekly changes league which was changed after YOU, Guapo, complained. There were also minimums which YOU complained against because it wouldn't let you build your club as you saw fit. Which was then changed so you could tank your club to get the highest picks.
Now you've found another wrinkle to complain about.
Are you just wanting all your leagues to have the same rules so you don't have to read the rules or even think?
Boring.

Geez, Gaz, we are just pointing out there appears to be a flaw in the structure is all. Leave it as is if you want. We just think it would be better to adjust the structure to eliminate the loophole. Isn't the purpose of the thread to discuss ?

But why do you want it changed? You know the rules and you've been in the league since it started. That has always been a rule unlike a couple of other things that you've wanted changed. There is no "flaw in the structure" unless you want it to be a flaw.
"Isn't the purpose of the thread to discuss?" I believe the purpose of the thread was to point out that people are placing contracted (non-PP) players in their minors - which shouldn't happen.
"Hey, if it stays as is, we will adjust." Why would you need to adjust? Surely if you have been in this league for three years you would know the rules by now and are preparing for the eventuality of contending one day?
It's nonsense.

Honestly, we never even thought about that PP wrinkle. We just look at our roster every day and promote the players who are promoted and demote ones who are demoted.
The idea of carrying major league players on your minors seems foreign to us, so far from the idea of having roster limits that we just glossed over it. We mention it because others have also questioned the idea in earlier posts to this thread. It seems to undermine the notion of limiting pitching slots, the two being contradictory.
But, hey, as we said earlier, we'll just drop the matter. Coupla guys don't seem to want to discuss it. We will just go with the existing rule rather than question it or try to "fix it."

Wait. Are you actually being serious? Are you trolling the thread?
Everyone can re-read the thread, Guapo.
First post in the thread:- Could be in the rules somewhere but I'm curious either way... Why are teams allowed to store ML players on their MiLB rosters? Not talking about PP players. Talking about guys w/ serious service time.
Second post:- They aren't allowed and shouldn't be doing this.
Third post:- I didn't think so. 2nd question. Is this correctable on Fantrax? Or is this just an "Honor System" situation?
Fourth post:- Honor system. League admin, upon seeing examples, could certainly reach out to whoever is doing so and remind them of the requirement that salaried(non pp) players must be on the active roster or the bench
Fifth post:- We think ALL MLB players should be only on MLB roster, not stashed in minors and streamed onto majors rosters. Teams could potentially carry a dozen of starters (or any position players they wanted to) and stream them up and down all year. Imagine the pitching stats they could accumulate. Disallowed in most serious leagues. Who would dream up such a rule?
Guess who made that fifth post? Guess who brought up the subject that wasn't being discussed in this thread?

You've been in the league since it started. If you didn't know this rule then whose fault is that?
It's stuff like this why people don't have time to be Commissioners in leagues like this.
My apologies to Brad for ranting.

No one, and I mean no one, owns more prospects and PP guys than El Guapo if you add up his Ruthian, MidSummer, and Dynasty GM teams (that's just ones I'm in with him, there could be more), yet he's the one bringing this shit up? I agree with Gaz.
