Hello all. It is time for our annual in-season prospect bidding week! Nominations can be posted at any time in the in-season free agency thread starting immediately and running until Thursday, July 13 at midnight. Bids will be accepted until Friday, July 14 at midnight.
Players just selected in the 2017 MLB draft or international guys signed during the current July 2 signing period are NOT eligible for bidding. All unowned players, currently signed to a contract with a MLB team, who have not surpassed the 50 IP, 150 AB threshold are eligible to be signed. All signings are by signing bonus. The money you have available to make bids is whatever amount you can dedicate from your salary cap.
There will be no regular, in-season free agency over the next week.
Happy prospect hunting everyone!

If we nominate a prospect who has less than 50 IP or 150 AB to be bid on at the beginning of the nomination period, but before the 14th he passes those totals, is he still eligible to be bid on or does he become a major league free agent?

As long as he was under those totals as of the end of play yesterday, July 6, then he's eligible to be nominated and bid on as a propsect.

Submitting this Q&A for everyone's benefit...
Q: Do I submit my bids in one message to the Free Agent Bids recipient or do I need to submit one message for each prospect?
A: All of your bids in ONE (1) PM. Don't send more than one PM. If you update the PM thread (which you can do), only the most recent message will be considered - so resubmit all of your bids, not just ones you're making in addition to or editing from a previous message.

If you are using Proboards, use fabids or Free Agent Bids, both work. For Tapatalk, use fabids
