November 24th, 2017 - 11:59pm - Deadline for posting Tags and declaring Contract Options
Restricted Free Agency
Sunday, Dec 3rd - Friday, Dec 8th - Pitchers
Sunday, Dec 10th - Friday, Dec 15th - Hitters
First Year Player Draft
Sunday, Jan 7th - completion (usually about three weeks)
Unrestricted Free Agency
Sunday, Feb 4th - Friday, Feb 9th - SP
Sunday, Feb 12 - Friday, Feb 16th - C & OF
Sunday, Feb 19th - Friday, Feb 23rd - CI & MI
Sunday, Feb 25th - Friday, March 2nd - RP
We are changing up the offseason schedule a little this year. By starting Restricted Free Agency in December, we can move our draft up to January. Please make sure to brush up/familiarize yourself with rules for Restricted Free Agency, Free Agency, and Rosters. This schedule is subject to change based on the need to accomodate unforseen circumstances or to better spread activity evenly over the offseason.
