Orioles sell-off special
Too many injuries and Covid related games missed to realistically win it this short season, so sadly looking to sell off some pieces. Listed in order of value. Willing to take back equal salary to make things work. I’ve set out what I’m looking for, so if interested send me a list of guys to pick from who fit the description.
Liam Hendriks, RP OAK $1m
Top 5 closer for those tilting at this season’s crown. Willing to include a franchise tag if the price is right. My price is one high end prospect.
Matt Carpenter, CI STL $5.6m with RFA tag
With all the doubleheader’s the Cards will need to play he could be a difference maker if he gets hot. And we’ve all seen him do it before. My price is one decent prospect or a worthwhile pp guy.
Pablo Lopez, SP MIA $0.6m
Looking really sharp so far. Low 2 ERA and more than a K per inning. Set as starter for a typically championship calibre Marlins club. My price is one mid-range prospect or pp guy.
Jason Kipnis, MI CHC $2.2m
Swinging a hot bat (1200+ OPS) in a good Cubs line-up. Getting most of the ABs at 2B. Perfect rental piece for a championship contender. My price is one worthwhile prospect or pp guy.
Brad Peacock, RP HOU $4.2m
For those look to speculate on cheap saves or holds, this is a guy I would target. Astros bullpen is a tyre-fire, and Peacock will soon be back and ready to pick up a high-leverage role. Could also be pressed into service as a decent starter. My price is one worthwhile prospect or pp piece.
Domingo Santana, OF CLE $10.2m (power and OPS in good line-up. Can take back salary if needed) Price = any rosterable prospect.
Cameron Maybin, OF DET $2.2m (cheap source of speed and sneaky power). Price = any rosterable prospect.
Matt Kemp, OF COL $1.1m (power and OPS, plug and play when Rox in Coors). Price = any rosterable prospect.
