I think the bargain of the week could be Chris Stratton. I can see him getting a bunch of holds with decent ratios when the Cards inevitably pull it together and somehow make a late run into the playoffs for the 78th season in a row.
But my bid of the week is JP France. Big bid, but I have that sneaky feeling that he will be the next Astros pitching dev success story and that we’ll all look back and wonder why he wasn’t more highly rated as a prospect.
