I have three guys I'm looking to move. Lucky to have some prospects and younger players come through this year, making these three somewhat expendable. All three would make handy additions to someone looking to compete in 2023 and 2024.
Looking for pitching, preferably young pitching, PP pitchers or pitching prospects. Value to me is in order of PP pitching, Prospect pitching, MLB pitching then Prospect hitting.
Players I would like to find a new home for are :
CI/MI/OF - Luis Rengifo (LAA) - $5.1M (24:$4.3M, 25:$3.5M)
Eligible in every position except catcher, played in 79 games so as good as an everyday utility as you're going to get. A bit of power and a bit of speed with 6 HR and 5 steals. 17 HR last year so he's a little down this year, meaning it's fair to expect an uptick in the second half. About 50 points under last year's batting average largely driven by a 40 point drop in BABIP so that could/should correct some in the second half too.
OF - Ian Happ (CHC) - $9M (24:$7.5M)
7 HR and 7 steals so far, playing every day. Similar to Rengifo, had 17 HR last year after 25 the year before so an uptick in power production over the second half is fair to expect.
OF - Bryan De La Cruz (MIA) - $6M (24:$5M)
Probably the least likely of the three to move, at 26 years old and controllable in 2024 at a reasonable price of only $5M. Really established himself as a quality major leaguer this year hitting .276 with a .750 OPS and 11 HR. It'll take a good offer to get him.
Hit me up with offers, you know from above what I want so please make an offer rather than ask 'what do you want for'.
