I want to thank Rob for establishing the DGM Baseball league and for running it for the first two seasons. Due to a lack of time to devote to being the Commissioner of the league he has okayed my taking over those duties. The other admins (Tim, Scott) have signed off as well and the four of us will continue as the admin team for the league.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA... (diabolical laugh). All your transactions are belong to us!!
Okay, so really, I hope to be an active presence answering questions, hearing critiques, firming up some of the ambiguities that inevitably pop up in the development of a league like ours, and keeping league activity moving along at a consistent pace. Right now is the time for everyone to reaffirm their commitment for next year, archive their 2016 roster, and update their 2017 roster. Threads are already posted for the two former items.
My immediate priorities are...
If anyone has suggestions for new GMs (the Astros, Padres, and Marlins are definitely in need of replacement) please let me know. If anyone has opinions to share about rule changes, please share them on the thread provided on the General Board or PM me.
Off-season trading will open up immediately after the end of the World Series. I will be posting an off-season calendar soon, so keep an eye out for that. Thanks and I look forward to kicking everyone's ass next year! 😉
