- Dec 31st, 2016 - 11:59pm - Deadline for posting Tags and declaring Contract Options
Restricted Free Agency
- Sunday, Jan 8th - Friday, Jan 13th - Pitchers
- Sunday, Jan 15th - Friday, Jan 20th - Hitters
Unrestricted Free Agency- Sunday, Jan 29th - Friday, Feb 3rd - SP
- Sunday, Feb 5th - Friday, Feb 10th - C & OF
- Sunday, Feb 12th - Friday, Feb 17th - CI & MI
- Sunday, Feb 19th - Friday, Feb 24th - RP
First Year Player Draft- Sunday, Mar 5th - completion (usually about three weeks)
Please make sure to brush up/familiarize yourself with rules for Restricted Free Agency, Free Agency, and Rosters. This schedule is subject to change based on the need to accomodate unforseen circumstances or to better spread activity evenly over the offseason.

List of Restricted Free AgentsI have started a running list of Restricted Free Agents on the TAG TRACKER - listed in the thread's first post - in anticipation of our Restricted Free Agent bidding period beginning the second week of January. *PLEASE NOTE* This is an incomplete, running list and will not be finalized until after the tag posting deadline at the turn of New Years. Tags will be added and can be changed until that time.

Bumping the calendar. Unrestricted Free Agent bidding begins tomorrow with Starting Pitchers. RPs will now have their own separate week of bidding after we're done with all the other positions. - Players must first be nominated in order to be bid on.
- Bids should be PMed to the fabids account before the end of the day Friday.
- Player nomination can start tomorrow (Sunday)
Who is an eligible UFA? - Unowned Pitchers with at least 50IP in their career and unowned Hitters with more than 150 ABs and...
- All international free agents 24 years old and older as of July 2, 2016 and currently signed by a ML team.
