Upon reviewing and accepting the rules each owner will select an MLB franchise of there choosing. From that one franchise the owner will select a player to be there Franchise player. This player may be a Major League or Minor League player from the team of your choosing. If the player is a prospect eligible player (PP) you may also choose between the players real life contract or his PP contract. For example Anthony Rizzo has signed a contract with the Cubs, but he also a protected prospect. You may choose his real life contract or his prospect contract. For more information regarding this please read all the rules.

Your division will be the division that your team plays in. National League for National League and American League for American League.
