2019 In season schedule

Couple of small changes to the schedule this year. 

        The first is that we moved up the playoffs by one week, thus ending our championship series one week before the end of the MLB regular season.

        The second is that we set a hard waiver buyout deadline for a week after the trade deadline.

Regular Season Begins - March 20, 2019

Prospect signing period - Week of the All-Star break

    Nominations to begin on Sunday, July 7th. All nominations by end of the day Thursday, July 11th.
    All bids due by end of the day Friday, July 12th.

End of In-Season Free Agency - Friday, August 2nd

Trade Deadline - Sunday, August 4th

Revocable Waiver Period - Week following Trade Deadline (announcement with details will be made)
 
Buyout/waiver deadline - Thursday, August 8th
    
   Last day to claim players placed on waivers - Sunday, August 11th

End of regular season - Sunday, August 25th

Start of playoffs - Monday, August 26th

Playoff round dates

Quarterfinals - Monday, August 26th - Sunday, Sept 1st

Semifinals - Monday, Sept 2nd - Sunday, Sept 8th

The Series - Monday, Sept 9th - Sunday, Sept 22nd

Following the lead of MLB, and with much shoulder-shrugging, we will be striking the revocable waiver period from our schedule beginning immediately.
