Here’s a fun one. Turn your starting lineup into an actual 1-9 batting order:
1. George Springer (R), CF TOR 2. Anthony Santander (S), RF BAL 3. Marcell Ozuna (R), LF ATL 4. Mitch Moreland (L), 1B OAK 5. Travis d’Arnaud (R), C ATL 6. Gregory Polanco (L) DH PIT 7. Jurickson Profar (S), SS SD 8. Gavin Lux (L), 2B LAD 9. Yandy Diaz (R), 3B TB

Leading Off - Bo Bichette Two-Hole - Juan Soto
Batting 3rd - Protection for Soto - Eloy Jimenez
Clean Up - Luis Robert
5th - Protecting Robert - Gleyber Torres
6th - Luke Voit
7th - Gio Urshela8th - James McCannDH - Some speed in turn-around - Dylan Moore
Tough primary roster to structure into a batting order. Biggest problem would be running an all rightie lineup out there every day. heh
We started off with Gleyber Torres in the 2-hole but prefer him batting 5th. We aren't totally comfortable with Jimenez hitting 3rd, but that is what we settled on. Initially considered hitting Jimenez in two-slot, behind Bichette, and batting Soto 3rd. Not sure Soto got enough protection in 2nd slot when we had Voit behind him, so we moved Voit down to 6th.
Could have just as easily flipped 3rd and 4th, batting Luis Robert 3rd and Eloy Jimenez 4th. Pretty nice problem to have. Biggest issue is real-life Juan Soto getting enough protection in Nats line-up.
Like our power; not crazy about our speed, but we have some. If the youngsters progress normally, we will be even better than last year. Hard to say with a thin bench...

Trea Turner (R) Ronald Acuna (R) Ozzie Albies (S) JT Realmuto (R) Vladimir Guerrero (R) Cody Bellinger (L) Keston Hiura (R) Brandon Lowe (L) Nick Senzel (R)
I probably should flip Albies and Bellinger here, maybe some homer bias there....maybe Realmuto isn’t the obvious choice as cleanup with the other bats I have, but somehow I just kept coming back to that’s the guy I trust to clean the table.

Whit Merrifield (R) Starling Marte (R) Justin Turner (R) Aaron Judge (R) Miguel Sano (R) Yasmani Grandal (S) Dahl(L)/Eaton(L) platoon Candelario(S)/White(R)/Vogelbach(L)/Miller(L) platoon Adalberto Mondesi (S)
My line-up reflects that I’ll have to hope that depth can compensate for a bit of a lack of star power in my line-up. My outfield platoon makes more sense in fantasy than real life, obviously...
This exercise also confirms that Mets and Braves are looking very strong this year.

God Tim's lineup is ridiculous. Ha. Lets see if Vlad can break out this year, if so good luck everyone for the next few years.

1 - 2B Tommy LaStella (L) 2 - OF Jeff McNeill (L) 3 - 3B Anthony Rendon (R) 4 - DH Nelson Cruz (R) 5 - 1B Jared Walsh (L) 6 - OF Tommy Pham (R) 7 - C Tom Murphy (R) / Max Stassi (R) 8 - OF Austin Slater (R) / Shogo Akiyama (L) - Platoon 9 - SS Jose Iglesias (R)
I could see switching up McNeill / Rendon for the sake of alternating L/R. I have Garret Cooper on the bench in case Walsh was a flash in the pan.

Astros Lineup 1. CF Byron Buxton 2. RF Trent Grisham 3. 2B Marcus Semien 4. 3B Nate Lowe 5. DH Michael Brantley 6. LF Mark Canha 7. 1B Carlos Santana 8. C Christian Vazquez 9. SS Isiah Kiner-Falefa Out of my starting lineup, this is what I could configure for a lineup. Maybe with shifting, you could see Kiner-Falefa shifting to third, Semien to short, Lowe to first, Grisham an adventure at 2nd, Santana to DH, and Brantley to the OF, but my priority is to be able to turn a double play, and have a black hole at third, rather than having a black hole at 2nd. I don't have the depth at third and up the middle to configure it any other way. Maybe I could swap Santana and Lowe, because Santana played a little there in 2014 and 2018, but I figure he's gotten too old and too fat to play there anymore.

If I was running an actual team I probably swap out France for Crawford and slide Kim to second to improve my defense, which would add a 3rd lefty to my lineup as well

AL I put Margot in his spot and Alvarez to DH which solves defense.
