Okay so having checked, I think these guys were all ones that I posted on the thread after the cut-off time and that no-one else posted, which I guess means I don't get them (sobs). Apologies again for confusing things, in my defence I think the deadline for postings was only set in the chat section, which I didn't see. Still- I should have checked properly so my own fault.
Wes Parsons SP ATL $0.2m Michael Cederoth RP/SP $0.1m Miguel Diaz Mil SP $0.2m Jose Dominguez RP TB $0.1m Danny Burawa RP NYY $0.2m Chris Rearick RP SD $0.3m Jorge Flores TOR $0.2m Austin Gomber STL $1.5m (whelp) Tito Polo PIT $0.8m Johan Mieses LAD $1.1m Danny Diekroeger ST $0.5m Colin Kleven PHI $0.1m Pat Light BOS $1m Ali Sanchez NYM $0.5m Cedric Mullins BAL $0.5m (who, as Brewers rightly flagged, was ineligible anyway (duh x 2)) Luis Liberato SEA $0.5m Evan Smith TOR $0.2m
Sorry again for the f*ck up. At least, by definition, it won't have affected anyone else's bidding.

All told 5 of the 17 free agents I signed were already owned. There's got to be a better way. If I had known that beforehand I would have alloted my money differently.

On Jordan Patterson, you have the Reds winning him for $100k, but I bid $150k. Also the following players are not shown as being won by anyone, but I made the following bids for them
Jorgan Cavanerio P Mia Signing Bonus - $150k
and
Andrew McKirahan P Atl Signing Bonus - $100k

When can we get minor leaguers added to our fantrax? If you've won them then you just add them yourself. Transactions tab / claim/drop / choose the player and submit

Andrew McKirahan is owned by Yankees.

Andrew McKirahan is owned by Yankees. Not to be a pain in the butt, but where does it say that in the rules? And why does you example show a bid of $650k? That is why I thought they were legal. There will be designated signing periods throughout the Season which occurs at the All-Star Break. During this period(s), a GM can bid on a minor league player using a Signing Bonus structure. Much like Free Agency, this will be done on a blind bidding structure, and priority list will be encouraged. Team with the highest bid will receive the minor league player. All Signing Bonus money comes straight of your Max Salary Cap, and will stick with the team for the inclusion of the entire season. This cost of cap cannot be traded/transferred at anytime.
Example: Team A Bids on MiLBer B using the following format
These bids will be submitted to the FA Moderator Account.
MiLBer B, SS Signing Bonus = $650K
The minimum signing bonus that a player can be offered is $100K. If that is going to be a rule, then it needs to be placed in the rules so when people read them, they are aware of them at the time of bidding.

This got me curious so I poked around. I think what the FA Moderator (Rob?) is referring to is this line within rule 6. Free Agency Process and Bidding
"The minimum increment for a bid is 100k. Bids that include any denomination lower than 100k (i.e. 10k, 1k, 100, 10 etc.) will be considered invalid and will not count."
That seems clear enough except that there is nothing in that rule that covers spec bidding. That's in rule 8. Prospects and Signings, from which Rick cites the above, apparently erroneous, example.
Quite the conundrum. Whatever is decided, we should probably try to clean up the rules so that it's clear that the bidding structure applies to all bidding, not just FA bids, and the example given for how to spec bid is something that would actually be a legal bid.
That being said, it's inevitable that we find these gray areas in the rules, particularly in the first calendar year go-round, and while we all expect fairness from the league, expectations of perfection are of course misplaced.

has the prospect bidding issue been resolved?
i feel like since there is murkiness and contradictions in the rules, GMs should be given the benefit of doubt the first time around.

Since some of the signees have been traded it would be difficult to go back and change the winning bidders. I did state several times that no bid of less than 100k in denomination would be accepted. Not sure why the rules would change just for prospect bidding.

Then I would be specific about it in the rules, because no where I could find does it specifically state that in the Rules. It mentions that minimum bid is 100K, but it does not mention that we are only allowed to bid in $100k increments, and while we are at it, we should change the example to show the bid in an increment of $100k also, not the $650k bid that is now shown!

Agree with Rick on this. The rules should be amended for clarity.
