Teams will have a maximum 60 man roster:
26 MLB roster maximum
34 MiLB roster maximum
Players on IR do not count against 60 man cap
Minimum salary for an MLB player will be $500k
Minor League players will be free
Minor Leaguer players are defined as being under the limit of 50 IP or 150 AB.
Once a player has met or surpassed 50 IP or 150 AB they are considered a protected player (PP) for the following four seasons and will make the league minimum. For example, if a pitcher surpasses 50 IP in 2015, they are protected for 2016, 17, 18, & 19 (commonly notated as PP/19). Players do not count against the salary cap in the year that they surpass 50 IP or 150 AB.
Protected Players can be sent to the minors with no penalty attached.
