I just want to make sure I understand the process, so excuse my ignorance on this process. After reading the rules for this process am I to understand we bid on MiLB players that are available via Fantrax player list (that means un-owned) who meet the MiLB criteria?

Only exception are international guys signed on July 2, 2015 or after. But yeah, basically anyone else who is playing in a minor league affiliate somewhere who has not reached PP status for our purposes. This would also include unowned players currently on a MLB roster who have not reached 50IP/150AB in their career.

The bidding will start this week. You can start posting players in the FA thread. Players who were drafted in 2015 are ineligible for this draft.

We have been posting our on the 2015 In Season Free Agent Thread. If that is not correct, please let us know where you want em... That is the correct place. I am also extending the bidding to next week for minor leaguers only. So you have until next Friday to get your bids in.

I know it's 50IP's and 150 AB's but when is that "as of"? There are a few MLB players approaching those numbers and could be bid on as prospects today but maybe not by next Friday...

Yeah, we were counting on the bids going in today and high bids awarded the player tomorrow. This is all screwed up. Not sure why once again the "rules" are changed during the process.
We see not many owners were involved, with only two owners nominating prospects for bidding, and we agree it's best to have everyone involved. But, regardless of the aim to get everyone involved, if we continue to change things in mid-process, owners are going to lose confidence in the league.

I think Rob did this to try and make sure people had time to digest it all since there were some questions, not as some attempt to change things. It really was just trying to be more friendly for this first year. As for guys that go over 150/50, I'd think if they are under those numbers when nominated then it should be fine. Rob to overrule me if he wants to, of course, so I'll make sure we get an answer.

What Tim said. I just want people to get in there bids and make sure they don't miss the minor league free agency part. Mets you are more then welcome to send me another PM to adjust your bids.
