A player not listed on any franchise’s roster following the Inaugural Drafts will be declared a free agent.
The league’s minimum salary requirement is $500,000 per year. The longest you may sign a player to contract at the league minimum is two years. The longest you can sign a player to a contract with an average annual salary of less than $1,000,000 per year is three years (more than $500,000 per year and less than $1,000,000 per year). The longest you can offer ANY contract is 5 years.
The minimum increment for a bid is $100,000. Bids that include any denomination lower than 100k (i.e. 50K, 10k, 1k, 100, 10 etc.) will be considered invalid and will not count.
A GM can NOT make a contract offer to a player who has not signed a contract with a real life Major League franchise, post inaugural drafts.
MiLB FA's cannot be bid on at any time other than the specified MiLB FA (prospect bidding). Any MiLB FA who accrues an AB or IP but who has not reached 50 IP or 150 AB is not eligible for free agent bidding. They can only be signed using a signing bonus and only during the designated prospect bidding period. All unsigned MiLB FA's will go into the pool of draftees at the end of the year when we have the First Year Players Draft.
All international players, 25 y/o and older at the time they signed, will be subject to regular free agency rules (signed to a contract, not a bonus).
