A reminder about how this league handles signings of guys considered Milbers (I.e. under the 150AB / 50IP threshold). From Rule 8: Prospects and Signings...
"Players who have not accrued 50IP or 150ABs in the MLB are considered minor league players.
...
There will be designated signing periods throughout the Season which occurs at the All-Star Break. During this period(s), a GM can bid on a minor league player using a Signing Bonus structure."

Young was just released on 3/25. His status is on hold until 3/28 as he goes through waivers. He can be claimed by anyone willing to take on his contract within 72 hours of his placement on waivers but he cannot be bid on until he has passed through, i.e. next week. |
