Also, a reminder of our 9th place tournament - running concurrently with the playoff schedule above. From the League Announcements thread... "New 9th Place TournamentIn response to concerns about having something for all GMs to engage in during our playoffs, we have decided to hold our first annual 9th place tournament concurrent with our 4 week playoffs at the end of the ML regular season. The details... - All non-playoff teams will be participants in this exclusive tournament (22 teams total)
- Scoring for the tournament will be the same format as our regular season (i.e. cumulative roto points)
- The winner of the tournament, along with bragging rights as DGM's 9th best team, will also win the "Mr Irrelevant Prize" - the last pick in the subsequent FYPD.
I know, I know. What is the incentive for making the ACTUAL playoffs with such an amazingly awesome consolation tournament? Dig deep, everyone. Dig deep." |

Bumping this up. - I will be creating the playoffs league on Fantrax sometime this week.
- For the 9th place Tournament, we are going to leave the regular season league as-is and just bench the playoff teams.

Yeah, that's what happened last year, but I have a healthier and more diversified roster this year, and I have survived a late push from the Orioles, so bring it on. Just hope I hit and pitch as well as my alter ego in Ruthian, the Utica Blue Sox.

Playoff league has been created. There are eleven teams who should be able to access the league on Fantrax (DGM Baseball Playoff Edition) - the top 8 plus ARI, COL, CLE. Those last three have some miracles to work to squeak in, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. I'll finalize the league and matchups on Sunday evening / Monday morning. I'll also bench the playoff teams on the main Fantrax league at that point to prepare for our Grand 9th Place Tourney! The quest for Mr Irrelevant begins soon! |

Hey Brad, @ least three of my players didn't make it on to my roster in the playoff league. Wil Myers, Nico Goodrum, and Justin Anderson at least. Everyone else might want to check their rosters too.I apparently rate the privileges required to add them so I did.

Ok. I scrapped the original playoff league. A new one is up - DGM Baseball Playoffs 2018. My roster seems to have made it through intact, how about everyone else's?
