This league is created for fun and for competition between avid baseball fans.
We expect the best conduct out of every member of our league. We do not approve of character bashing of any kind, and we ask for respect of every member. Failure to comply with appropriate behavior is subject to penalties. The league administrators have the ability to remove any member at any time for conduct considered detrimental to the league, which includes but is not limited too...
- inappropriate behavior and conduct
- failure to comply with rules and penalties
- actions that hurt the competitive balance of the league
So please treat each member with respect.
Tanking is defined as the purposeful benching of MLB players, leaving either empty slots or starting players not currently on a MLB roster, in order to improve one's draft position. If GMs want to orchestrate a "finish low, draft high" rebuild, they need to do so while starting the MLB position players and pitchers currently on their roster. GMs who don't follow this rule are subject to draft penalty or removal from the league. If you have questions about whether your rebuilding strategy will be acceptable, please reach out to League Admin to discuss.
League Administrators are picked by the Commissioner. If you are interested in being a League Admin, please let me know of your interest and of any experience you may have. If you are asked to be a League Admin, you are expected to be able to commit some time to the league. A baseline expectation is to check in once a day.
Once you have read all these rules and understand them, please accept the rules in Rule Acceptance and contact the League Commissioner about Franchise Availability.
