Isn't the rule 1 AB or 1 IP in the majors makes a guy draft eligible? Thought that was in the books somewhere... can someone verify?

Isn't the rule 1 AB or 1 IP in the majors makes a guy draft eligible? Thought that was in the books somewhere... can someone verify? This is a confusing question. I'm assuming you meant 1 AB or 1 IP in the majors makes a guy eligible for free agent bidding? We have a rule, which only applies to In-Season free agent bidding, where guys who are called up (with specific stipulations) can be bid on as free agents. Otherwise, and at all other times (the Off-Season, for instance) any player with less than 50 IP or 150 AB in MLB for their career are draft eligible only.
