Red Sox waive SP Homer Bailey - 2015 $10M, 2016 $18M, 2017 $19M, 2018 $21M, 2019 $23M, 2020 $25M option using the free agent buyout clause, declining his 2020 option. Penalty for this year is $45.5 (half of guaranteed contract) instead of his current $10M salary.
Red Sox waive MI Everth Cabrera - 2015 $2.4M the good old fashioned way. $1.2M penalty for this year.
