Every team will be limited to $125 million in Salary Cap. This cap will be used for Player Salaries and Signing Bonuses.
Beginning with the offseason before the 2024 season, the salary cap will be raised on the following schedule...
2024: $135M
2025: $140M
2026: $145M
2027: $150M
Teams will also receive three tags. One tag will be a Franchise tag and the other a Restricted tag. The third tag can be either of these two options, the choice is up to the owner (Flex tag).
FRANCHISE TAGS
Team takes on the players real life MLB contract. We currently use Cot's as the official source for contract and salary information.
Please round all annual salaries to the nearest $50,000 increment.

OPTIONS
The following contractual options - player, club, mutual, vesting, conditional opt-out - will be considered club options. Other contractual options (as of yet not invented but surely on the horizon) will be considered by league admin as the need arises. This league will not enforce buyouts of options. Player opt outs will also be treated as club options. If an owner exercises an option then they are responsible for the remainder of the contract, unless another club option exists. If a player signs a contract that has both a player and a club option in the same year (see Kevin Pillar's deal with the Mets for 2021-22), then the lesser of the two option amounts is used and treated as a club option.
RESTRICTED TAGS
Team will allow player to be bid on in the offseason, and will have opportunity to match winning bid or receive compensation. Restricted Free Agency rules apply.
Tags may be traded, but the type of tag being attached to a player has to be determined at the date of trade unless the flex tag is traded. Flex Tags do not have to be declared until the offseason, as if the tag was owned by the original GM. Tags traded, however, cannot be removed once traded with a player. The tag must be used on that player and if that player is traded again, the tag must go with him.
Amendment - Declining Option and use of Tag: If an option on a player is not picked up, the owner of said player can still use a Restricted FA tag on that player as long as the owner has a Restricted Tag available.
Amendment - Franchise Tag and Off Season Extensions: Often a franchise tag will be used on a player during his arbitration seasons. In this case, GMs expect to lock in a one year salary. However, if 1) a player signs an extension of two years or more during his arbitration years and 2) said extension is signed after our tag deadline but before another deal is signed (e.g. this rule would not apply to players who agreed on an arbitration salary and then signed an extension two weeks later), GMs will have the option of taking on the extension contract (this is currently the default) or taking on just the first year of said extension, at which point the player will become a free agent again after one season. Please note, this amendment only applies to players in their pre-arbitration or arbitration years.
Amendment - Free Agents with PP years remaining: Beginning in the 2018-19 off-season, free agents who have potential PP control remaining may be tagged with a franchise tag in order to lock in those remaining PP years.
